Welcome to the world of Windows 7. Here is one important tip about W7 in the Library.
If a public computer seems to have disconnected from the public printers, reboot and then wait at least two minutes before selecting a printer. The script that connects the computer to the print server takes a few minutes to execute, so all the printers may not show as soon as someone logs in.

Another printing irregularity... if a student says a computer's print job isn't showing up at the Go Print stations, look for a generic printer labeled "Library."
ReplyDeleteThis has occurred on several different machines this summer. Mike said it self-corrects when the machine is logged on again.
